So got everything packed up and I’m told by my printer and my screener that everything will be delivered to the show, so all I got to do is turn up and look pretty. Come out if you can I’ll be at table p73 right between GW Fisher and Paul Rivoche. I’ll be doing custom toys and commissions all weekend or until my hand seazes up.

So as I mention I was going to be starting a visual work diary. so the other night I was working on laying out the new book I thought I’d add my first post. I’ll be hosting it here instead of zOMGtv (which I took down for now but I’ll give it a new home soon when I get back to it)

So back I am on the twitterage and popping up on FB here and there.
Getting back in front of the desk Has been a great relief.
I’m totally exhausted back to a routine of sleeping of about five hours a night and yet… somehow I feel great!
working on the comic laying out this art book getting a new batch of T-shirts made up and making leaps and bounds with my writing process this last week or two.
I feel like I need to make more of an effort to include the narrative of my creative process into this site in some way. I mean The point of doing it in web format was supposed to be to share the creative process and make it a part of the development of it as a project.
I think instead of watering down my web presence by distracting myself with a myriad of little projects, (which I do all the time because I’m prone to distraction) and always tripping over myself in false starts out of my over eagerness to get started on them. But now I’m learning from my own mistakes. And Now that I’m focused on just this and nothing else I need to do something in the gaps between being able to produce a page(I can be satisfied with). My life is very full. I have many skills but I’m not great at time management. I need to find a way to keep you guys entertained… This is still a half formed idea right now but I’m going to start a work diary.

Well so you may be wondering what the hell is going on with me?
Schedule keeps changing and I keep dropping and out?
Well – Back in May I realized I have to change my approach with my schedule and specifically my production schedule for Meta.
and I haven’t really worked it out yet. But also I’m taking most of the summer off to be with my kid for her vacation.
(Right now it’s mostly been working our way through Lego Indiana Jones and tooling around our neighborhood on our bikes.)
So yes new pages are currently in production, but I think it’s safe to expect I’ll be posting them more like once a month till things balance out for time. And September things will return to normal.
But I want to share my creative process especially on the writing side. So over the coming weeks I’m gonna figure out a way to work that into things. maybe a daily work ramblings post, or podcast? Also want to continue to share my drawing and coloring process through Ustream . But the main idea is to find an effective and entertaining way to share my production process.
So if you have any ideas holler and let me know!
